To prepare for our field trip to the Plains Conservation Center, we did many activities to help us understand what life was like for the Native Americans who lived in our area many years ago. Here are a few of our favorites:

important aspects of Native American life. |

We learned what the Native Americans used each
part of a buffalo for. |

Using Native American symbols, we decorated
our own "buffalo skins." |
After our field trip we reflected on our favorite part of the day and what we learned.
